I’ve never surfed before. Is Surf Fit right for me?
Absolutely! Surf Fit is designed for beginners, or for those who want to refresh their skills.
What can I expect from class?
Surf Fit focuses on teaching you the basics of surfing. You will go through a warm-up on land first. Mobility and posture will be addressed as key points for injury prevention.
We will also go over paddling technique, board handling, safety and etiquette before practicing in the water.
What if I can’t swim very well?
Safety is the number one priority. It would be ideal if you can at least tread water. If not, staying close to shore would be your best option.
